About the condition

About the condition

A chronic illness caused by narrowing of the airways causing difficulty in breathing. Is most commonly relieved by inhalers. Severe cases can be treated with steroids and in some cases a nebulizer.

About the condition

The formation of stones in the gallbladder or bile ducts. Gallstones increase with age, occurring in 15% of women in their 50s and a third of women in their 80s. The prevalence in men is lower, but again this increases with age to about 13% in men in their 70s.
